Bingham Riverhouse is a neighbourhood club intended for people with purpose. Applications are open to all over the age of 18 as we remain inclusive to individuals from all backgrounds and with various stories to tell.
Upon purchase of membership, the Riverhouse team will contact you to determine the details of the person you are purchasing this for. They will be asked to complete our online application form in full and read and sign the terms and conditions of membership prior to receiving an acceptance email.
- The Riverhouse
Bingham Riverhouse reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change the Bingham Riverhouse company with whom a member contracts from time to time. Bingham Riverhouse will inform each member of the name of the Bingham Riverhouse company with whom their contracts by email when we confirm your membership approval and/or renewal, and also when we change your contracting Bingham Riverhouse company at any time.
Bingham Riverhouse reserves the right to charge members a joining fee, an annual subscription fee and for admission to the ‘premium’ events from time to time. The right to amend or waive any such fees or subscriptions from time to time shall be in Bingham Riverhouse's sole discretion.
- Your membership application
By completing and submitting your application for membership via our website, you agree to be bound by the terms of our community conduct.
The Membership Committee meets quarterly and admits new members when space is available. The Membership Committee shall have discretion as to who shall become a member of Bingham Riverhouse and will ensure that equal representation is maintained as a condition of acceptance.
You are free to withdraw your application at any time. Should you wish to do so, please contact our membership team at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your membership application is accepted, we will confirm this by sending you a 'Welcome Home' email. Your annual membership will commence on the date your 'Welcome Home' email is sent.
- Proposing new members
Members are welcome to propose new applicants to join. Please send all applications and recommendations to email@example.com.
- Under 35 membership
Members whose applications are accepted on, or before, their 35th birthday will enjoy the benefits of a discount on the membership fee until their 35th birthday, alongside other reductions and events. All details can be found on our online membership portal. If your application is not accepted on, or before, your 35th birthday, the full membership fee will apply.
- Membership renewal
Annual membership is for a minimum period of one year and renewable thereafter on an annual basis. Alternatively, we offer a monthly rolling membership, with a minimum commitment of six months, which can be terminated by giving one months’ notice.
- Membership database
It is important for us to have your current details, plus a photograph of you in our membership database. By becoming a member of Bingham Riverhouse, you agree that we can hold your personal details and a photograph to use in connection with your membership. If your contact or payment details change, please let us know by email.
- Membership payment
Upon approval or renewal of your membership, your membership fees become payable immediately. By providing us with your payment details, you accept and consent to being charged with membership fees in the form requested by Bingham Riverhouse upon your application being approved or renewed. It is within our discretion to amend our membership fees at any time, and we will notify you in advance if there are to be any changes to the amount, date or frequency of the payment of your membership fees.
Failure to pay the annual subscription (or any instalment thereof) within one month of the due date will result in the member not being admitted and the membership being terminated.
- Resignation of your membership
If you have selected annual payment and choose to resign your membership (or your membership is cancelled part way through the year), you will still need to pay your full membership fee for the remainder of the year. Refunds will be at the discretion of Bingham Riverhouse.
- Membership cards
All membership cards must be handed to the Reception team to gain entry. Members should also expect to be asked to present their membership card when they sit down to eat or drink or if they open a bar tab. Where any member allows their card to be used by a non-member, such non-member shall be denied access to, or removed from the premises and the member whose card was used may face suspension or termination of their own membership. Please notify us immediately if your membership card is lost or stolen.
